Our journey to Atelier has brought us to master printmakers, glass blowers of coastal reaches, restorers of what was, creators of what is.
We have met ceramicists, weavers, boat builders; their spaces embody their commitment to their crafts.
So step inside, smell the wood and paint, look and see the markings of tools that have been worked and loved even more; sit and feel the inspiration rise within you, the pull to craft, the desire to become better.

TISANE – The Alchemy of a Good Life
Warm tea starts the day: it meets you in the morning, warms you after an ocean swim, heals and clears the mind.
Aromatic memories of Zanzibar, spices and herb shops in rich warmth; sweet tea in greeting abundance, steaming in the streets of Morocco; herbal concoctions from Alpine Valleys, shaped by the land, passed from the rivers.
These experiences create the stories, but they also set the notes of how we recall them.
The coming together of herbs, flowers, and plants, honed from decades of experimentation–this is our allegory of life. We learn as we travel, with the hope that our experiences may be added to the brewing of knowledge that makes life’s truth, and makes it whole.
Our TISANE scent is to centre, calm and dream.

To journey to the wild northern landscapes of Norway, Shetland, or Iceland, is to witness a story opening up before you.
Your eyes adjust to the wide open spaces, the new horizons.
You feel the wind on your skin, it echoes the tingle of change, excitement’s trepidation. You settle, and the ancient tales unfold from the back of your mind, released with that of tension, the relaxing of shoulders. You walk, and your stride lengthens, your steps bolden.
You look around, and see the place you’re in.
You see that there is no room for doubt.
